Best Tokyo Disneyland snacks to try

Your guide on what delicious and instagram worthy snacks to try at Tokyo Disneyland including Mickey shaped chicken nuggets.

Chicken and egg bao bun 8/10

This delicious bay bun filled with crispy chicken and egg salad in the shape of Mickey Mouses’s glove was wonderful. Doughy bun with crispy chicken and creamy egg salad was the perfect blend of flavours and textures. You can find these at Good Time Cafe in Toon Town at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey shaped nuggets 10/10

At Tomorrowland Terrace you can buy chicken nuggets shaped like Mickey Mouse. Not only do these look very cool they are the best nuggets I have had in a long time. They’re like McDonald’s nuggets with a KFC coating- a fast food lover’s dream.

Mike Wazowski melon bread 8/10

At Sweetheart Cafe in World’s Bazaar this melon bread was packed with flavour. Not too sweet, this bakery item was perfect to snack on during the day. Pick your time wisely as in the morning the queue was out the door.

Creme Brûlée churro 6/10

I had my churro at Tokyo DisneySea but they were available near the Beauty and the Beast ride entrance in Disneyland. It was tasty but compared to the other snacks of the day it didn’t seem particularly special.

Loaded hot dog 4/10

At Refreshment Corner in Disneyland, similar to Casey’s Corner a other Magic Kingdom Parks, I opted for the loaded hot dog. In Florida the Casey Jones Chilli Cheese Dog is mine and my Dad’s favourite and we always share one. In comparison, this hot dog wasn’t on par. The chilli was more of a curry and it didn’t have the flavour. However, that is to be expected. In Japan I wouldn’t expect the best hot dog of my life like how in the United States I wouldn’t expect the best sushi or mochi.

Toy Story alien mochi 9/10

I grabbed mine at a stall outside Tomorrow Land. One vanilla, one strawberry and one chocolate filling this was a delicious and beautifully designed dessert. All the flavours were great the vanilla custard being my favourite. This is what Disney does very well, adapting local cuisines and giving them a Disney flourish.

Raspberry and Peach Minnie ice lolly 10/10

These are sold at various stands across both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea and they are incredible. So much flavour this is the perfect way to rehydrate standing in a queue for a ride.
