Best markets to explore in Perth

With many wholesome activities in Perth, the capital of Western Australia’s markets is one of the highlights. From live music, food and wellness activities there’s heaps to enjoy.

Scarborough Sunset Markets

Every Saturday in the Winter and every Thursday in the Summer this is my personal favourite. Live music with lots of food stalls it is a really great atmosphere. It can get very busy so I would recommend parking at Trigg Beach and walking down to Scarborough (I got stuck in the car park in Scarbs for 45 minutes trying to get out). The pizzas from the fire truck are a personal favourite.

Freo Vintage Markets

Only on a few times a year watch out for these events to snag a great hidden gem. There was an excellent collection of shirts, jewellery and bags you could spend hours rummaging for a great second hand find.

Summer Salt Markets at Trigg Beach

While Scarborough Markets are my favourite, this market is pretty special. Free yoga, pilates and sound healing paired with excellent coffee and brunch stalls and homemade goods. Currently this market is on every 2 weeks in the summer be sure to check is out for a really wholesome way to start your Saturday.
